Aromatherapy is a form of massage which draws its healing powers from using plant extracts. These plant essential oils are absorbed into the body through massage and inhalation helping to relax and balance the body, mind and spirit by two principal routes; the Olfactory System and the Skin. When inhaled through the Olfactory System - through the nose, they trigger the Central Nervous System. When applied to the skin, they permeate through the capillaries and cell tissues. These specifically chosen essential oils help to balance emotions and are known for their stimulating and uplifting and relaxing properties.
